If you study nursing at ASH, you will earn the "Nursing Consultant" certificate in addition to your bachelor's degree. We also have faculty at ASH with many years of nursing experience in many areas. In our Skills Lab you will be prepared for the real world by means of practical exercises. The practical phases take place at cooperating clinics and various nursing facilities. If you already have a nursing education, you can additionally acquire the BA degree and become a practical instructor.

Two modern skills labs were built and set up for the nursing course of study. On the one hand, they simulate the clinic, on the other hand, they represent nursing in the home and can also be converted for other scenarios. We work with various nursing simulators, lay actors and can thus train skills such as injections or dressing changes and also simulate everyday life in practice. The university library offers access to various databases (also via remote access).

ASH Berlin is a university with a strong focus on research, whereby teaching and research are closely linked in order to accelerate the transfer of scientific findings into practice. The objectives include the development and implementation of new approaches, procedures or problem solutions with a close link to practice. Two research projects are currently underway under the direction of Prof. Dr. J. Gräske: Humanoid Robotics in Senior Living Facilities (RoSen) and An Extended Reality Enhanced Skills Lab (skill.LAB:XR).
