Almost all modules offer English-language seminars (as well as German).

All course rooms have good technical equipment with a projector and an audio system and most also have induction loops. The faculty has had a new building since 2011 that offers generous space for classes. The faculty is centrally located in Bamberg's Old Town (World Heritage Site). Bamberg offers a variety of cultural events, including some taking place outside of the university, and is very student-friendly.
